Sales Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for all Sales & Marketing activities in assigned regions and/or accounts. Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery.
• The position is responsible for setting up and overall management of dealership network in the assigned area

Primary responsibility

• Market and sell company products to current and potential customers
• Prepare schedules and action plans to identify customers and project the no. of contacts to be made
• Follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
• Identify sales prospects and contact them
• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
• Maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
• Establish and maintain potential and current customer relationships
• Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services
• Identify and resolve all customer complaints
• Prepare status reports including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to organizational goals
• Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activity to immediate Manager and Management.
• Co-ordinate with required company staff to accomplish work and close sales.
• Ensure payments and all receivables are received by due date
• Track progress of all reportees and extend support as and when required to accomplish work and close sales
• Any other duties assigned as deemed fit by the Management from time-to-time

Additional responsibilities

• Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows etc..,
• Co-ordinate shipping schedules and delivery of products and services
• Provide on-job training to new sales employees
• Working with product development teams to manage new product development
• Researching and evaluation customer needs and insights.
