Job Description
- Sales Manager is responsible for driving room and banquet revenue by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building client relationships, and ensuring flawless coordination of events and bookings
- Identify and target key corporate clients, travel agencies, and group bookings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients for repeat and referral business
- Conduct sales visits, cold calls, and presentations to prospective clients
- Monitor competitors and market trends to adjust sales strategies
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and room inventory
- Banquet SalesPromote banquet facilities for weddings, conferences, corporate events, and social gatherings
- Develop and implement a sales plan to achieve banquet revenue goals
- Conduct client meetings, site inspections, and negotiations to secure bookings
- Customize proposals based on client needs and budget
- Coordinate with the operations team for smooth event execution
- Collect post-event feedback and build long-term relationships with event organizers
- General Sales ActivitiesAchieve monthly and annual sales targets for both rooms and banquets
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, revenue, and client interactions in the CRM system
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, quality standards, and operational procedures
- QualificationsBachelor s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7-8 years of experience in hotel sales, specifically in room and banquet sales
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in sales tools, property management systems, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the local Asansol market is preferred
