Sales Manager is responsible for driving room and banquet revenue by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building client relationships, and ensuring flawless coordination of events and bookings
Identify and target key corporate clients, travel agencies, and group bookings
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients for repeat and referral business
Conduct sales visits, cold calls, and presentations to prospective clients
Monitor competitors and market trends to adjust sales strategies
Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and room inventory
Banquet SalesPromote banquet facilities for weddings, conferences, corporate events, and social gatherings
Develop and implement a sales plan to achieve banquet revenue goals
Conduct client meetings, site inspections, and negotiations to secure bookings
Customize proposals based on client needs and budget
Coordinate with the operations team for smooth event execution
Collect post-event feedback and build long-term relationships with event organizers
General Sales ActivitiesAchieve monthly and annual sales targets for both rooms and banquets
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, revenue, and client interactions in the CRM system
Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, quality standards, and operational procedures
QualificationsBachelor s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
7-8 years of experience in hotel sales, specifically in room and banquet sales
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in sales tools, property management systems, and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of the local Asansol market is preferred
