About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive Sales Engineer to identify potential buyers, build strong client relationships, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate should have a mechanical engineering background and a passion for sales. This role is open for Mumbai (Navi Mumbai & Vasai-Virar), Bengaluru (Peenya), and Aurangabad locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned region.
- Cold call, schedule meetings, and visit clients to generate sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Understand client needs, provide technical solutions, and deliver product presentations.
- Prepare and negotiate quotations, close sales, and ensure contract agreements.
- Provide after-sales support, manage client accounts, and resolve customer concerns.
- Track sales activities, analyze market trends, and prepare reports.
- Support marketing efforts by attending trade shows and promotional events.
- Collaborate with the sales team and technical experts to offer tailored solutions.
- Train customers and internal teams on product applications and benefits.
- Regularly update CRM with customer interactions and sales progress.
- Assist subordinates in achieving targets and support team performance.
- Work closely with superiors to strategize and plan sales actions.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering background with sales experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel and meet clients in person as required.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently and in a team.
- Own a two-wheeler for travel (travel allowance will be provided).
