Job Description

The Senior AWS Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on the AWS platform.
This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, AWS networking, cloud architecture, and best practices to optimize performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

Key Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years experience with development and maintenance using AWS services.
Proficiency in core AWS Networking and AWS services (EC2, VPC, Lambda, EKS, MSK, S3, RDS etc).
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must be able to write code.
Should be able to pitch in and contribute with solutions/ideas to problems.
Strong understanding of Terraform development and deployment.
Should have experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Platform Engineering (Infrastructure as code) practices.
Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities, and able to adapt in a diverse working environment.
Proven and quantifiable track-record of success in delivering results within a large complex organization.
Good formal and informal communication skills in English (written and verbal).
A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Role Description:

Cloud Architecture Design: Develop and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures using AWS services.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze system performance, making recommendations for improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency.
Security Management: Ensure compliance with security best practices and policies, conducting regular audits and implementing necessary controls.
Cost Management: Analyze cloud spending and identify opportunities for cost savings through resource optimization and effective budgeting.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and management, to align cloud strategies with business objectives..
Work independently in a dynamic environment with multiple assigned projects and tasks. Development skills would be needed.
