Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Qualification:
Masters in Corrosion Engineering / Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering with relevant Engineering experience
Work Experience: 6 - 20 years
Job Specification:
- Good knowledge of corrosion phenomenon, metallic and non-metallic materials and corrosion control strategies related to Oil and Gas industry, refinery processes, Urea and Ammonia plants
- Perform corrosion rate calculations and corrosion allowance by means of qualified and validated software like Predict, Electronic Corrosion Engineer (ECE).
- Prepare material selection philosophy/report, material selection diagrams (MSD) and corrosion monitoring philosophy.
- Participate in Corrosion Risk Analysis Studies and Risk based inspection analysis for the projects assigned
- Define corrosion monitoring philosophy
- Provide technical support to Engineering and fabrication.
- Familiar with International standard related to materials and corrosion like NACE, API, ASTM, ISO.
