Job Title: Business Analyst WMS & TMS

Location: Sriperumbudur

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Business Analyst Digital Manufacturing & MES to drive the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and other digital manufacturing solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems while improving shop floor operations, productivity, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to define and document MES requirements, process improvements, and integration needs.
• Document user stories, process flows, and system specifications for MES and digital manufacturing projects.
• Assist in the deployment and integration of MES with ERP, SCADA, IoT, and automation systems.
• Identify opportunities for improving OEE, WIP tracking, production scheduling, and real-time monitoring.
• Support system configuration, testing, and deployment in production environments.
• Ensure seamless data exchange between MES, ERP, PLCs, and IoT platforms.
• Support real-time dashboards, reporting, and analytics for production performance tracking, downtime analysis, and quality management using BI tools
• Collaborate with internal teams, solution providers, and manufacturing leads to enhance system capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, GMP, and other manufacturing compliance requirements
• Conduct training and change management sessions to ensure smooth adoption of MES solutions.
• Stay updated on Industry 4.0 trends and smart manufacturing.
• Recommend and drive the adoption of new technologies to improve shop floor operations.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, or related fields.
• 5–7 years of experience in MES implementation, digital manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 projects.
• Hands-on experience with MES platforms (Siemens OpsCenter, Rockwell FTPC, Apriso, or similar).
• Understanding of SCADA, IoT, and automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong data analysis & visualization skills (Power BI, SQL, Python is a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to optimize production workflows.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to drive digital transformation and lead process changes in a factory setting.
