JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
I. JOB FUNCTION:
To develop, implement and execute business and product strategy in accordance with the overall sales strategy. Develop marketing tools & launch performance based marketing campaigns fpr product promition. Launch initiatives to differentiate our products and solutions from our direct and indirect competition. To serve as subject manager expert from both a business and technical perspective and ensure that strict time lines of delivery are met to ensure we are ahead of our customer requirements. To liaise and support Sales & Marketing Team to execute programs of significance to our market and business activities.
II.UNIT FUNCTION:
Grow product line sales. Create competitive advantage for assigned Product Range. Develop, articulate, and communicate business and product strategy to internal and external customers to drive alignment and accelerate growth. Lead Product Management, Demand Generation, Specification and Business Development for assigned Product Range
III.A. DUTIES:
Implement Product Strategic Direction
•Identify opportunities and target segments based on competitive strengths
•Assess feasibility of meeting targets needs
•Monitor competitive environment include product offerings
•Increase market penetration and reach
•Manage, resolve and execute businesss needs relating to portfolio
•Increase brand awareness & develop sales pipeline with strong demand generation actions
Product Launch
•Project manage new product development from research, inception to product launch
•Gather data and research (pricing/competitors)
•Create training programs
•Source samples
•Conduct testing
•Prepare and manage the product life cycle
Communications: Manage Resources/Business Unit Support
•Coordinate product development, product launch and product introduction activities
•Identify and coordinate elements critical to a project; lead functional groups including: Research, Sales, Quality Assurance, EH&S, Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, Marketing Communications,
•Develop & execute channel growth & retention tools
•Recommend, advise and implement on pricing strategies
•Centralize and maintain all product and customer segmentation databases
•Optimize product portfolio - routinely assess and rationalize product portfolio
•Track portfolio and time balance of product developments
•Provide support to S&OP forecast process. Review & validate demand.
•Develop relationships and professional networks
•Create Sales, Marketing & Specification Tools
Sales Support
•Work with cross functions team(s) and create the pipeline for sales acceleration in very strong coordination with sales and technical team
•Develop technical product performance literature and other promotional material
•Develop and provide technical training for employees including induction materials to practical demonstrations
•Be a Subject Matter Expert for the company and provide product training to internal stakeholders as well as customers/ influencers
•Specification support In coordination with Specification and Marketing Team
Develop and implement product training & strategy alignment programs for Sales
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: BE + MBA
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXP 5 years
NATURE OF EXPERIENCE
•Experience of which significant part in related industry
•Working experience in MNCs in a matrix organization
•Sales and/or Technical management experience desired
