Experienced in a continuous Process Industry for the Building Material, preferably cement industry or QA department in any industry.

Role & responsibilities

The role of a National Manager - QA is to ensure that all products and raw materials within a company meet consistent standards. This involves developing and implementing quality control tests to ensure the quality of raw materials and products, inspecting at various stages of production, and analysing findings to take necessary actions. Additionally, the National Manager uses World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies to understand yield losses and implement countermeasures. A customer-centric approach is also developed to address and drive customer needs.

• Lead and Drive Quality Assurance Function & initiatives across the Gyproc

• To ensure Product Specs. are meet & delivered including VABs in coordination with operation teams

• To ensure new products & solutions as designed are manufactured with right quality & at right cost

• Benchmarking of competitors products & solutions and drawing comparisons & release • Extensively travel to Gyproc plants to carry out quality and process audits

• To do Analysis through Industry 4.0 tools of Plant Performance Management System

• Ensure updated quality manual available & follow the guidelines.

• Identify the product specifications required to meet VOC (customer requirements E.g. NPD /MSS) • Identify the process & equipment parameters (CTQ) critical to quality ( with the help of operations & Sales Teams)

• Prepare / ensure updated control plan. Audit / improve such system from time to time. • Establish a system in which process parameters are measured, analysed (SPC, Quality tools) & maintained (be guardian). E.g. (checklist / SOP / PM schedule / Quality gate / SLA).
• Check the product samples quality to see if system is functioning.

• If defect / rejection is found, do the why-why analysis to find the shortcomings of the quality management system / adherence to it.

• Ensure the traceability of the defect.Do the customer complaint analysis & find the preventive action & how to implement it in QMS.
• Train the production team to follow SOP & identify online defects.

• Audit the skill & competency level of such operators to ensure system is understood & in capable hands.

• Maintain the standards, discipline and adherence to the QA plan & prepare policy with SOP & corresponding records for any deviation.

• To participate in test run on production lines.

• To liaise with External Agencies as and when required for getting Outside Lab tests done as per Gyproc / Customer requirement.

• To support SCM in vendor development, & validation Implement, maintain & improve existing quality assurance systems, including tools, Norms, training and processes for quality

• To Plan schedule & conduct Internal audits, Management review, materials preservation and issue related documents.

• Investigating non- conformity, initiating and evaluating corrective and preventive actions.

• Leading QPC Pillar (L4) for WCM / QPC-Vertical and horizontal project
