Surface Preparation Technician

Your main mission:

Within the Maintenance team of the HAL/SHE joint venture in Goa, your main mission will be to prepare parts for evaluation, including degreasing, descaling, stripping, blasting, manual cleaning, and cryogenic cleaning.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and loading baskets for the stripping/degreasing cycles of engine parts and initiating the cycles.
• Performing manual finishing of parts using brushes and other tools to remove residues or using cryogenic techniques.
• Blasting parts as needed.
• Tracking the progress of operations using the companys ERP system and completing accompanying documentation for managed tasks.
• Performing first-level maintenance on equipment and maintaining your workstation while adhering to 5S standards.
• Immediately reporting any discrepancies and participating in routine procedures.
• Proposing improvements for your workstation.
• Paying particular attention to HSE aspects (wearing personal protective equipment, reporting deviations, etc.).

Profile sought:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in an industrial environment, specifically in the aerospace sector.
• Strong interest in teamwork and proficiency with IT tools.
• Autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail.
