Lab Chemist

Qualification and Experience:

• B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Chemical Science or related subjects.
• Relevant 2 and or more years of experience.
• Working knowledge of use of surfactants and or dispersants.
• Team player, self-starter on assignments and projects.

Requirements:

• Researching and testing alternative formulations, raw materials, and processing techniques in traditional and/or nonconventional approaches to develop and improve existing products.
• Evaluating ingredient and formula properties in laundry stain testing and consumer perception studies to optimize formula efficiency.
• Finding new additives/ingredients/processes to improve product performance and increase consumer satisfaction.
• Creating and monitoring product specifications for formulations to ensure quality and market competitiveness.
• Formulate materials for the India markets utilizing best in class products in order to develop new product mixtures or demonstrate the performance.
• Support marketing, technical services and sales team by developing, reviewing, critiquing and presenting communications such as Technical Data Sheets, slide presentations, posters, technical papers, etc. to customers, distributors and others.
• Answer customer, sales and marketing questions about products, performance and applications of Safed systems.
• Work with engineers and manufacturing to produce and scale up new products, improve current processes and address product performance opportunities.
• Write reports (monthly, project, etc.) that document and communicate the work that has been performed.
• Give presentations to management concerning projects and the progress of the work.
• Smooth functioning of the shift.
• Taking the full responsibility of the laboratory. Ensure chemical, glassware and instrumental availability.
