- Assisting with lesson planning and curriculum development, including activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Helping to supervise and engage children in activities, such as arts and crafts, music, story time, and outdoor play.
- Communicating with parents and guardians regarding their childs progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Monitoring childrens behaviour and addressing any issues that arise.
- Help to create a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Assist with daily classroom management, including guiding children in following routines, managing transitions, and addressing behavioural issues.
Requirements:
- Education- Preferably certified in early years education
- Experience - Internships or 0 to 1+ years experience required in pre-primary teaching.
- Skill set: Required to be Patient, flexible, organized, patient, innovative, and confident. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and other staff members.
- Leadership and management skills, including the ability to supervise and mentor staff members
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain a positive and supportive work environment
