Job Description
Teaching and Instruction:
Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in English to students as per the CBSE and CAIE curriculum.
Develop and execute lesson plans that align with both the CBSE and CAIE frameworks, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
Foster critical thinking, creativity, and a passion for Economics among students.
Curriculum Development and Delivery:
Plan and execute lessons that challenge students and enhance their understanding of English concepts, theories, and real-world applications.
Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and needs, ensuring maximum student engagement and participation.
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback, while preparing them for their examinations (Board exams and other assessments).
Classroom Management:
Maintain discipline and create a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
Engage students through innovative teaching techniques, including the use of multimedia, interactive discussions, and case studies.
Student Support and Mentorship:
Offer individual support and guidance to students, helping them manage academic challenges and achieve their goals.
Mentor students in their academic growth, providing personalized attention to help them excel.
Collaborative Involvement:
Work closely with fellow teachers and school staff to ensure a coordinated approach to academic and extracurricular activities.
Participate in school events, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
Post Graduate degree in English with a minimum of 45% marks.
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience:
Proven expertise in teaching English at A and AS level
Experience with the CBSE curriculum and familiarity with the CAIE curriculum will be an advantage.
Skills:
Strong subject matter expertise in English.
Excellent language proficiency (English) and effective communication skills.
Good classroom management skills to create a disciplined and engaging learning environment.
Openness to continuous learning, self-improvement, and adapting to new teaching methods.
Other Requirements:
Open to relocating to Baru Sahib, Himachal Pradesh.
Passion for teaching and a commitment to students academic and personal growth.
