Position description:

To have fluency in Problem solving operations and to support day to day Solar Product design and costing related task to achieve common goal of organization towards Excellency.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete knowledge of latest Solar products, Raw material and processes.
• Attend regular conference of latest design at appropriate forums.
• Responsible for module design and specifications.
• Aware of all IEC/ BIS and other module certifications and procedures for same.
• Responsible for R&D of product to improve quality and meet international standards
• Competitor module analysis
• To ensure and adopt the latest product technology in the market.
• Able to do various reliability tests on module as per standards
• Contribute towards development of quality standards for raw materials & in-process product and product specifications for finished products
• Conducting Raw material trials for vendor substitution / development
• Conduct / actively participate in vendor development meetings for alternate sources.
• Ensure proper processes at factory and validation of recipe at various production stages
• Actively participate in defect analysis to bring down rejections and improvement in quality of finished product.
• Ensure tender specification compliances and support marketing in technical meetings

Educational qualifications preferred

• Category: Bachelor's Degree
• Field specialization: Electrical and Electronics engineering
• Degree: Bachelor of Engineering - BE, Bachelor of Technology - BTech

Key Performance Indicators: Cost of product, timely adoption of new technology, alternate vendors, timely completion of certification / listings / providing adequate support to marketing for tender enquiries, customer satisfaction on product design

Required Competencies:

Required Knowledge: High/Mid level of proficiency in English and Hindi

Required Skills:

8-10 years of progressive experience in solar module/cell manufacturing.

Required abilities

Ability to respond quickly and act decisively to address potential threats or crisis.

Ability to handle and deliver under pressure.

High degree of comfort with a collaborative and open culture of cross functional teams.
