New Product Development Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Performing technical presentation, drawing up developing offers in order to achieve the awarding of new projects.
• Taking responsibility for the management of quotations, orders and delivery of prototypes to clients, complying with the quality and deadline specification.
• Taking responsibility for the management of quotations, orders and delivery of prototypes of purchase elements to be mounted, as well as the management of serious quotations, complying with the quality and deadlines specifications. In addition collaborating with the search and selection of suppliers.
• Taking responsibility for the development and management of the projects during their lifetime, by means of establishing relations with engineers, the follow up of projects in accordance with the reference of clients (ISO, QS, EAQF, etc.) the collaboration at the industrialization stage carrying out the follow up of milestones and drawing up the documentation for the client and assurance on industrialization standard rates.
• Taking responsibility for the implementation of technical proposals intended to improve the performance of parts and cost reduction.
• Maintaining updated knowledge of new projects specifications, technologies and materials, management tools etc.
• Taking responsibility for the development audits and collaborating with audits of new plant process and validation.
• Carrying out other tasks demanded by the business organization.
• Complying with the procedures and regulations related to the prevention of occupational risks, environment & quality.
• Good exposure in Project management, PPAP, APQP, DFMEA, customer portal handling, leading all phase from RFQ to SOP

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: BE Mechanical / Automobile
• Experience: 5 Years in Automotive companies.
• Candidate should have experience in Product Development / New Product Development
• Candidate experience in rubber / polymer industries will be preferable.
• Good communication skill verbal and writing – English
