Job Title: Head of Branding

Location: Chennai

Reports to: Executive Leadership Team

Position Overview:

Our client is a leading Cement manufacturing company, seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join as the Head of Branding. This role will be responsible for crafting and executing the overall branding strategy, positioning the company as a market leader and driving brand awareness and loyalty across all touchpoints. Looking for candidates with strong background in brand management, strategic communications and marketing, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver a compelling brand narrative that resonates with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy Development:

- Lead the development and execution of the overall brand strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's long-term vision and goals.

- Create and implement strategic initiatives to enhance brand equity and positioning in a competitive market.

Brand Positioning & Messaging:

- Define and communicate clear brand messages that reflect the company's values, mission, and vision.

- Position the brand effectively to appeal to both B2B and B2C segments, enhancing customer loyalty and engagement.

- Ensure consistency in messaging across all platforms and channels.

Brand Communications:

- Oversee the creation and delivery of impactful communication strategies to elevate brand awareness and strengthen market presence.

- Manage external communication channels, including media relations, digital content, social media, and public relations campaigns.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

- Lead a team of branding, design, and marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative environment to develop creative and innovative campaigns.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, digital marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure the brand message is integrated across all customer touchpoints.

Brand Health & Market Research:

- Track, analyse, and report on key brand performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of branding initiatives.

- Lead market research initiatives to gather insights into customer preferences, competitor activities, and market trends, using this data to refine branding strategies.

Campaign Management:

- Oversee the development and execution of high-impact marketing and advertising campaigns to drive brand visibility, engagement, and customer acquisition.

- Manage branding budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

Innovation & Brand Evolution:

- Continuously evaluate the brand's market position and recommend adjustments to the branding strategy based on evolving business objectives and market conditions.

- Champion innovation within the marketing function, ensuring the brand stays relevant and ahead of industry trends.

Key Qualifications:

Education:

- Master's degree from Tier 1 institution is preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum 15 years of experience in brand management, strategic marketing, or a related discipline, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.

- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing comprehensive branding strategies in a corporate or B2B environment.

- Experience in managing large-scale brand campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, traditional, and experiential marketing.
