Head - Financial Controller - Digital Solutions/IT - CA (10-15 yrs)

Experience: 10 to 15 years

Location: Chennai

Qualification: CA or MBA in Finance

Roles and responsibilities:

- Ensure timely & accurate recording of transactions including implementation of automation projects. Perform review to ensure accuracy of reporting. Drive digital adoption.

- Interact with auditors and complete Quarterly and annual accounts. Preparation of reports for board reporting.

- Ensure statutory compliances - under fiscal statutes (Direct/Indirect taxation, RBI regulations etc.)

- Effective tax planning & management.

- Management of funds to improve the returns and working capital management.

- Track & monitor budget vs actual and report variances and enforce corrective actions. Publishing.

- MIS in a timebound manner.

- Implement systems for account level P&L measurement for large clients.

- Support business in pricing decisions and contract negotiations.

- Analyse and benchmark financial metrics Vs competition.

- Performance of projectwise/company level FTE analysis for optimisation of billable resource rate and reduction in bench cost.

- Optimize and ensure adequate Insurance cover.

- Assess M&A opportunities, participate in due deligence and assist in negotiation.

- Analyse and benchmark financial metrics Vs competition.

- Cost reduction and profit improvement initiatives.

- People development

Required skills:

- Experience in SAP.

- Exposure to various accounting functions.

Note: Candidate should be from an IT company with sound commercial knowledge of accounting standards and fiscal laws.
