Job Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient, and high-performance Java-based applications and infrastructure.
Develop and implement automated monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and availability.
Collaborate with software engineers to improve system architecture, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize performance.
Manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and ensure smooth production releases with minimal downtime.
Establish and enforce SRE best practices, including incident management, post-mortem analysis, and root cause identification.
Enhance observability by developing dashboards, metrics, and logging frameworks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and Splunk.
Implement and refine disaster recovery and failover strategies to minimize service disruptions.
Optimize Java application performance by analyzing memory usage, garbage collection, and thread efficiency.
Identify and address potential bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and security vulnerabilities in production systems.
Partner with DevOps and infrastructure teams to enhance cloud-native application performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Participate in on-call rotations and proactively mitigate potential issues before they impact users.
Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance system reliability.
