SAP BODS Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) Developer/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining data integration solutions using SAP BODS. The role requires strong technical expertise in SAP BODS, data warehousing concepts, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into target databases.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain data integration jobs, workflows, and scripts in SAP BODS to ensure efficient and reliable data movement.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Optimize data integration processes for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, job failures, and data quality.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and procedures for data integration solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP BODS features, best practices, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) in designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling principles.
• Proficiency in SAP BODS development tools such as Data Integrator, Data Quality, and Metadata Management.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and SQL querying.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP systems and SAP BW (Business Warehouse) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• SAP BODS certification is a plus.
