Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Global IT Sales Head to lead our international sales efforts and drive significant revenue growth. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in B2B IT sales, lead generation, and closing high-value deals in global markets. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and cultivating strong relationships with key clients across diverse time zones.
Responsibilities:
Business Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets and expand market share.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth opportunities in international markets.
- Formulate and implement strategic business plans to penetrate new markets and solidify existing client relationships.
Client Relationship Management:
- Identify, qualify, and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and C-level executives in target international markets.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored IT solutions.
- Build and maintain long-term, strategic partnerships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing global sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Set clear sales objectives, provide ongoing coaching and training, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent to support the company's growth objectives.
Sales & Market Expansion:
- Drive new business development initiatives, focusing on expanding the company's footprint in key international markets.
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances to accelerate market penetration.
- Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies, leveraging digital marketing, networking, and industry events.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and delivery teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies and client needs.
- Provide valuable market insights and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure seamless communication and coordination across all departments to deliver exceptional client experiences.
Negotiation & Deal Closure:
- Lead complex negotiations with key clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and successful deal closures.
- Develop and manage the sales pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue and ensuring timely deal progression.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of compelling sales proposals and presentations.
Adaptability to Time Zones:
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple time zones, ensuring seamless communication and responsiveness to international clients.
- Effectively manage communication and scheduling to accommodate diverse time zone requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in IT sales, with a proven track record of success in international markets.
- Extensive experience in B2B sales, lead generation, and closing high-value deals.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing sales teams.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly across multiple time zones.
- Strong understanding of the IT industry and emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
