1. Develop and Execute Sales Strategy:
- Create and implement a comprehensive enterprise sales strategy focused on acquiring international clients mainly targeting the US & EMEA region.
- Identify levers to get the target accounts to engage with Anakin and convert engagement to conversation to customer.
2. Client Acquisition (Hunting):
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in large enterprises, with a focus on international clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of solutions.
3. Market Analysis and Competitor Research:
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
- Utilise market insights to refine sales strategies and positioning in the international market.
4. Sales Team Leadership:
- Provide coaching and mentorship to sales representatives to enhance their effectiveness in the international sales landscape.
- Sales Performance Measurement and Reporting
- Provide regular reports to executive leadership on sales performance, opportunities, and challenges.
5. Collaboration with Marketing:
- Work with the sales representatives to develop targeted campaigns and materials for international markets.
- Provide input on product positioning based on client feedback and market demand.
6. Contract Negotiation:
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with international clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with the CEO to finalize contracts.
7. Team Management
a. The Director of Sales will be responsible for owning a revenue target. This will be based on new logos and hunting.
b. Managing a team of 4 to 6 Account Executive having 8+ years of experience
c. The Director of Sales will be responsible for owning a revenue target, which will be based on the cumulative performance of a team of 4-6 Account Executives (AEs). This individual will lead and manage the sales team, ensuring that each AE meets or exceeds their targets, while driving the overall revenue goals for the organization. In addition to sales performance management, the Director of Sales will take on key team management responsibilities, including recruiting, staffing, and providing ongoing coaching and development to ensure a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, a strong focus on team development, and the ability to drive results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
d. Together with AE and SDR Director of Sales will be responsible to drive action on key areas highlighted above.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Total years of experience required is 10-17 years
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in managing (staffing & performance management) a team of Account Executives, with a focus on new revenue generation in international markets
- Must've experience selling enterprise solutions to international & global clients in the IT industry
- Previous experience in handling large ticket-size clients.
