Manager- Material Planner

Role & responsibilities

• Involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes.
• Manage production and capacity planning
• Drive solutions to reduce and eliminate any gaps in plans preventing meeting order schedule, including assisting in sourcing materials as required
• Day to Day Production Planning and Inventory control
• Tracking and Managing daily production progress
• Decide what resources are required
• Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
• Liaise among different departments, e.g. Production, Stores etc.
• Plan and solve any roadblocks to meeting plan
• Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed
• Supervise and motivate a team members
• Review of Team members
• Identify training needs.
• Prepare and organize production reports and maintain for the department.
• Represent the planning organization in internal program meetings.
• Overall responsibility of material planning.

Preferred candidate profile

• Production planning and organisation skills to be able run and monitor the production process.
• The ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems.
• The capacity to grasp process concepts easily.
• The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with team..
• The ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet deadlines.
• SAP & MRP is Must.
