Lead - Investment Banking Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst to join our Investment Research team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, modeling, and valuation techniques, with a deep understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles.

Responsibilities:
Develop complex financial models and conduct valuation analyses for various investment projects, mergers, acquisitions, and investments.
Analyze financial statements, prepare forecasts, and perform scenario analysis to support decision-making processes.
Evaluate financial performance and prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Conduct industry research and benchmarking to provide insights into market trends and competitive dynamics.
Support the preparation of business cases and investment proposals by providing accurate financial modeling and analysis.
Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards relevant to financial modeling and valuation.

Key skill:

• Bachelors degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• 4-8 years of experience working with investment banking or private equity
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
• 4-8 years of experience working with investment banking or private equity
• Prior experience in deal execution and transaction structuring is an additional advantage, though not mandatory
