Assistant Manager - Colour, Trim and Graphics (CTG)

Job Purpose:

Color Trim & Graphics will be responsible for developing product identity and enhancing RE brand awareness. The incumbent will accomplish this by using effective tools such as material, colour, and surface treatment to produce excellent product quality. He or she will work on product graphics, logos, and colour schemes, and will be considered an "expert" in this subject, sharing knowledge and making solid judgments in order to positively impact and contribute to initiatives.

Position Title: Assistant Manager - Colour, Trim & Graphics (CTG)

Reports to: GM - Colour, Trim & Graphics (CTG)

Function: Genuine Motorcycle Accessories

What youll do:

• Forecast and analyze colour, material and finish trends
• Drive CTG design for interdisciplinary projects, from kick-off to launch and deliver CTG designs against the projects.
• Working closely alongside Royal Enfield teams eg. Industrial Design/CAS/GMA/MSE/Branding/CGI etc. to develop exciting CTG proposals
• Study design briefs and determine product requirements.
• Analyze Design Brand DNA as it relates to the vehicle line and create appropriate designs.
• Prepare concept rendering in computer graphics (CG) software (Adobe Creative Suite) and present them for reviews both internally and externally.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines such as engineering, and vendors to execute on project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Work with suppliers to develop and design innovative solutions for different materials, surface effects and color proposals.
• Follow the development of physical models by working with the design and modeling team to apply paint and other finishes, 2D graphics and 3D badges using the latest prototyping technologies.
• Research new materials and technologies, identify and benchmark relevant competitors, encouraging awareness of trends inside and outside the automotive industry
• Keep abreast of Design/Color/Materials/ Technical/ Other Trends developments within

automotive/other industries

• Lead the implementation of different projects that provide a maximum of visual and tactile impact and inspiration
• Keep abreast of latest developments and trends by attending trade fairs to be aware of current trends, new materials and innovative technologies

What you'll bring:

Experience:

• 4+ years experience including at least 5+ years in a professional design studio environment on production projects
• Motorcycle enthusiasm, creativity,curiosity, passion as well as awareness of Global Markets.
• Fluent in English.
• Good Eye as Colorist and Visualization.
• Comfortable with Ambiguity
• Adaptability & Flexibilities, open to change
• Team Player.

Qualification: Any Bachelor’s or Master's’ degree in Transportation or Industrial Design
