Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cloud-based architectures, NoSQL databases, and backend development using Python
Additionally, proficiency in AWS, PostgreSQL, Rails, React/TypeScript, and specialty knowledge in RIP Software and Caldera are critical for success in this role
Key Responsibilities: OMS Development: Design, develop, and maintain an in-house Order Management System on Google Cloud
Cloud Solutions: Architect scalable cloud solutions using Google Cloud and AWS
Database Management: Work with NoSQL databases and PostgreSQL to ensure efficient data management and integration
Full-Stack Development: Lead development efforts in Rails for backend services and React/TypeScript for front-end components
RIP Software and Caldera Expertise: Leverage specialty knowledge in RIP Software and Caldera to enhance workflows and print management solutions
Code Quality & Best Practices: Ensure high-quality code by following industry best practices in testing, code reviews, and continuous integration
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver robust solutions
Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues in both backend and frontend components
Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in developing and maintaining Order Management Systems, especially using Google Cloud and Python
Strong expertise in AWS, NoSQL databases, PostgreSQL, and Rails
Proficiency in frontend technologies including React and TypeScript
Specialty knowledge in RIP Software and Caldera for print and image processing
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e
g
, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines)
Familiarity with microservices architecture and APIs
Knowledge of other programming languages like JavaScript and Ruby
