Job Description
- Design and develop innovative cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing and GCP technologies.
- Evaluate new GCP services and technologies to drive innovation, enhance system performance, and optimize cloud solutions.
- Collaborate closely with various departments and stakeholders to understand requirements and optimize GCP cloud performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous development in GCP Cloud projects.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in the IT industry, including at least 4 years in a Lead Engineer, Cloud Architect, or similar role.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technology stack.
- Deep expertise in GCP services and cloud architecture, including Compute Engine, App Engine, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Composer.
- Strong knowledge of GCP Networking, Security, and Compliance.
- Proven experience in software engineering and architecture design.
- Solid understanding of both Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Bigtable, Firestore, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Proficient in DevOps and SRE practices, including CI/CD, scripting, test automation, and observability tools like ELK stack, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
