Job Description

Route Mobile Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager of Marketing to lead its global marketing efforts. This strategic role is crucial in driving Route Mobile s core marketing objectives, including lead generation, field marketing, sales collaboration, and regional campaign execution. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, results-driven marketing professional with proven expertise in B2B marketing, a deep understanding of digital and field marketing, and the ability to measure marketing ROI effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement a global marketing strategy aligned with Route Mobile s business goals and objectives.
  • Drive the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, field marketing, and partner channels, ensuring each campaign is optimized for lead generation and conversion.
  • Oversee regional marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with local market dynamics and sales objectives across key geographies.
2. Lead Generation:
  • Own lead generation initiatives, driving qualified leads through multi-channel campaigns, including digital marketing (SEO/SEM, content marketing, email marketing) and event-driven marketing.
  • Develop and implement ABM (Account-Based Marketing) strategies to target key accounts in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Track and analyze the lead funnel, optimizing conversion rates and maximizing pipeline growth.
3. Field Marketing & Events:
  • Plan and execute field marketing events such as trade shows, conferences, webinars, and roundtables to drive lead generation and brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with regional sales and business development teams to localize marketing campaigns and materials for greater impact in specific markets.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning at all events and field marketing activities.
4. Sales Collaboration & Alignment:
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure marketing initiatives align with sales goals, developing a cohesive marketing and sales plan to drive business growth.
  • Lead marketing-sourced opportunities and ensure effective lead handover to the sales team, monitoring follow-ups and conversion outcomes.
  • Enable the sales team with collateral, case studies, and product marketing materials to support effective selling.
5. Marketing ROI & Analytics:
  • Establish and track key marketing metrics, including campaign performance, lead generation, and conversion rates, to measure the return on marketing investment (ROI).
  • Provide detailed reports to senior leadership on marketing effectiveness, budget utilization, and key performance indicators.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns through data analysis, adjusting strategies to maximize results.
6. Campaign Management & Content Creation:
  • Lead the creation of impactful, customer-focused content across multiple platforms, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and more.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of global marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels to increase brand awareness and demand generation.
  • Collaborate with the product marketing team to ensure messaging aligns with product launches and innovation.
7. Cross-Functional Leadership:
  • Serve as the marketing point of contact for cross-functional teams, collaborating with product management, sales, and business development to ensure alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and professional development.
8. Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the global marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet lead generation and branding objectives.
  • Ensure cost-efficient spending across all marketing activities, balancing budget constraints with the need to drive impactful results.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 12+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong background in digital marketing, field marketing, and demand generation.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, including lead generation and regional marketing initiatives.
  • Expertise in marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and data analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with sales teams and align marketing strategies with sales objectives.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in measuring marketing ROI and optimizing campaigns based on data-driven insights.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a marketing team.
Master s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
