Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize AI solutions leveraging state-of-the-art Generative AI techniques.
• Develop and fine-tune language models (LMs) for diverse applications.
• Architect scalable workflows and pipelines for AI-driven applications.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of prompts, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI system outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI systems into production-grade solutions.

Skills and Expertise

Foundational Skills

• Machine Learning & Statistics Basics: Understanding of core ML concepts like supervised/unsupervised learning, regression, and probabilistic models.
• Data Science Tools & Techniques:
• Proficiency in tools like NumPy, Pandas, Seaborn, and visualization platforms such as Tableau and PowerBI.
• Ability to process and analyse complex datasets for AI model development.
• Experience with GCP, AWS and Azure.

Core AI and LLM Knowledge

• Deep Learning Frameworks: Hands-on experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Transformer Architecture Basics: Familiarity with the architecture that powers modern NLP models.
• Natural Language Processing (NLP): Expertise in working with text data and LLM-based solutions.
• LLM Psychology and Prompt Engineering: Understanding of how LLMs "think," their behavior, and effective prompt design for optimising outputs.
• Model Training and Fine-Tuning: Ability to fine-tune pre-trained models for specific use cases and evaluate their performance.

Generative AI Tools and Frameworks

• AI Frameworks: Proficiency in tools like LangChain, LangGraph, and LMLite.
• Generative AI Platforms: Experience with platforms such as HuggingFace, VertexAI, Unsloth, LlamaFactory, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
• Flow Engineering: Designing and maintaining workflows for efficient AI model deployment.

Advanced Capabilities

• Vector Databases and Embeddings:
• Knowledge of platforms like Pinecone, FAISS, and Weaviate for semantic search and similarity matching.
• Vector and Graph RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation): Understanding of combining vector and graph-based approaches for improved AI solutions.
• Prompt and RAG Evaluation: Expertise in evaluating prompts and RAG models to ensure high-quality outputs.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

• Strong ability to analyze, design, and troubleshoot complex AI systems.
• Proven experience in developing scalable, production-grade AI systems.
