Robosoft Technologies - Senior Data Analyst - Power BI/Tableau (4-7 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with expertise in SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on extracting valuable insights from customer data, identifying trends, and optimizing business strategies within the retail domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer segmentation, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to visualize data to inform key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources (e.g., sales data, customer behavior, etc.) to derive actionable insights that will drive business decisions in the retail sector.

- Design and implement customer segmentation models using advanced analytics techniques to help tailor marketing strategies and improve customer experiences.

- Utilize SQL to query databases, ensuring the extraction of accurate and relevant data for analysis.

- Develop automated processes and data pipelines using Python to streamline data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

- Create visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau to present findings and monitor business performance metrics.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, operations) to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.

- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within customer behavior, sales data, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Continuously monitor and improve the quality and accuracy of data used for reporting and analysis.

- Present insights to senior management and stakeholders, providing strategic recommendations based on data analysis.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the retail industry.

- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and managing relational databases.

- Advanced experience with Python for data analysis, including libraries like pandas, numpy, and matplotlib.

- Expertise in using data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau to create interactive dashboards and reports.

- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas.

- Solid understanding of customer segmentation techniques and how to apply them in a retail environment.

- Ability to work with large datasets, ensuring data integrity, quality, and consistency.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

- Experience with machine learning techniques and predictive modeling.

- Familiarity with retail analytics tools and platforms (e.g., POS systems, CRM systems).
