Roadcast - Operations Manager (3-5 yrs)

- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Manager to oversee and maintain our inventory team, specifically focusing on IT hardware products.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of IT hardware inventory, ensuring accurate tracking, optimizing stock levels, and improving processes for maximum efficiency.

- This is a critical role in driving operational excellence and supporting cross-functional collaboration across teams to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:.

Inventory Management:.

- Oversee the end-to-end inventory lifecycle of IT hardware products, including servers, networking equipment, peripherals, and accessories.

- Develop and implement inventory control processes that ensure accurate tracking, minimize discrepancies, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.

Forecasting & Demand Planning:.

- Utilize sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to forecast demand for IT hardware products.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to align inventory levels based on demand forecasts and upcoming product releases.

- Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to create inventory plans that align with sales forecasts and product schedules.

Inventory Optimization:.

- Analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess hardware products.

- Implement strategies to improve inventory turnover and optimize stock levels, including promotions, markdowns, or exploring alternative sales channels.

- Monitor stock levels regularly to ensure the right balance between product availability and cost-efficiency.

Vendor Management & Negotiation:.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hardware suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.

- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to optimize inventory costs while maintaining high product quality and availability.
