Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. At RoadCast, we value curiosity, creativity, and the ability to solve complex problems. As a Senior Python Developer, you will be an integral part of our backend development team, helping to shape the architecture and ensure the scalability of our platform.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- You will abstract away complex data interactions with easy-to-use APIs that will power several mobile and web applications.

- You will also own, scale, and maintain the computational and storage infrastructure for the various micro-services and long-running jobs, designed and implemented by you and the team.

- We will look to you to make key decisions on the technology stack, architecture, networking, and security.

- We love working with bleeding-edge technology, especially if it improves the malleability, and simplicity of our deliverables.

- Write a clean error-free code.

- Coordinating with development department to determine application requirement.

- Deploy the code to production.

- Testing are debugging applications.

- Timely resolution/escalation of issues.

- Implementing security and data protection.

Requirements :

- Proven experience with Python (Flask), Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, and SQLAlchemy.

- Strong experience in building scalable and efficient backend systems and APIs.

- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Solid understanding of database management, networking, and security protocols.

- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to take ownership of projects and deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines.

- Deliver high-quality, secure, and maintainable APIs that power multiple applications.

- Optimize system performance and ensure the reliability and scalability of backend infrastructure.

- Ensure secure data handling and protect against vulnerabilities.

- Successfully deploy code to production environments and resolve issues within defined SLAs.

- Maintain high code quality, perform comprehensive testing, and ensure the reliability of the code deployed in production.

- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and requirements
