Job Summary:
The Operations Manager will oversee and streamline day-to-day logistics operations at RoadCast.
This role involves optimizing workflows, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management principles, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and the ability to lead diverse teams toward operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Operations Management:
- Manage daily logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Oversee resource allocation, route optimization, and transportation scheduling.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Workflow Optimization:
- Analyze existing workflows and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement optimized operational procedures and best practices.
- Leverage logistics software and automation tools for better performance and monitoring.
Team Collaboration:
- Foster collaboration among internal teams and external logistics partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving operational issues across the logistics network.
- Ensure alignment between various stakeholders to maintain smooth operations.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success.
- Generate detailed reports to provide insights into logistics performance and areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular operational audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
Leadership and Development:
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their performance and skill sets.
- Build and maintain a high-performing team to achieve organizational goals.
- Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in logistics operations management and optimization.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and improving logistics workflows.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in logistics software and automation tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in implementing or working with advanced logistics technology or solutions.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in logistics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
