Automation Test Engineer - Selenium/Cucumber Testing (5-8 yrs)

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency).

Must-Have :

- Associate with minimum of 6 Years of hands-on experience as lead in Selenium Cucumber Java test automation and strong experience with Framework Automation.

- Good Knowledge on Web Environment, Web Elements and Operations on the Web Elements.

- Basic Understanding of Functional and Regression Test Automation.

- Good knowledge on Selenium suite of Tools (Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid).

- Strong Knowledge of Java Programming.

- Debugging Test Cases and Fixing Errors.

- Generating Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Selenium Element locators and WebDriver API Commands.

- Strong knowledge in BDD approach.

- Implementing JUnit / TestNG/MAVEN Test Automation framework and developing automation infrastructure.

- Strong Communication and Stakeholder management.

Good-to-Have :

- Hands on distributed version control repository.

- Hands-on Knowledge on SQL and Unix.

- Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role.

- Prepare test strategy and test planning and work with relevant stakeholders in smooth test execution.

- Design high quality deliverables adhering to business requirement with defined automation framework and selenium script design and execution.

- Develop and maintain highly scalable automation scripts as per client expectation and requirements.

- Develop/Integrate the code adhering to CI/CD, using Maven and uDeploy.

- Provide solutions to the automation design and techniques to solve problems as it arises.

- Work with Cucumber framework and Maven.

- Should be able to work with a team who might be geographically distributed.

- Understand the client requirements and delivery first time right.

- Review of deliverables from team members.

- Mentoring and coaching of talent pool.
