Murex Environment Specialist (3-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage Murex environment configuration and deployment.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.

- Implement and maintain Murex best practices and methodologies.

- Coordinate with development teams for environment setup and changes.

- Execute regular maintenance and updates on the Murex platform.

- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

- Develop scripts for automation of routine tasks.

- Provide on-call support for production issues.

- Document system configurations and procedures.

- Assist in capacity planning and scalability solutions.

- Support integration of Murex with external systems and applications.

- Work with performance tuning and optimization of the Murex environment.

- Provide training and support to new team members on Murex usage.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for system enhancements.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions within the team.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- Three to five years of experience working with Murex environments.

- Hands-on experience with Murex installation and configuration.

- Strong understanding of financial trading systems and operations.

- Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or similar languages.

- Experience with database management, preferably Oracle or SQL Server.

- Knowledge of system integration methodologies and issues.

- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with performance tuning and monitoring tools.

- Certifications related to Murex or financial technologies are a plus.

- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations as needed.
