Job Description
Responsibilities Qualifications
- Application Development : Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and Laravel framework.
- OOP and Coding Standards : Ensure adherence to PHP coding standards and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Database Expertise : Optimize, manage, and write complex queries for MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
- API Integration : Build and integrate RESTful APIs to enable seamless data exchange across platforms.
- Event Streaming : Utilize Kafka for event-driven architecture and real-time data streaming, ensuring robust messaging and communication.
- JavaScript Frameworks : Experience in Angular, React.js, or Vue.js is required, with strong hands-on experience in Vue.js being highly preferred.
- Unit Testing : Write unit test cases to ensure robust code quality, leveraging tools like PHPUnit.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and DevOps to deliver high-impact features.
- Agile Methodologies : Participate actively in Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban) to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Mentoring and Leadership : Mentor junior developers and participate in peer code reviews to ensure continuous improvement in the development team.
- Learning and Adaptability : Stay updated with emerging technologies and show willingness to learn and adapt to new development concepts.
- Experience : 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
- Laravel Expertise : Strong working experience with the Laravel framework.
- OOP Standards : Solid understanding of OOP, PHP coding standards, and unit test writing.
- Database Proficiency : Excellent knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL with strong query optimization skills.
- Kafka : Hands-on experience working with Kafka or any other event-streaming platforms.
- JavaScript Frameworks : Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, especially VueJS (knowledge of Angular or ReactJS is a plus).
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Agile : Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
- Problem Solving : Strong problem-solving abilities with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
- Adaptability : Eagerness to learn new concepts and tools.
