Senior Accounts Executive

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the accounting operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring timely and accurate submission to avoid penalties.
• Support subordinate to their work and supervising them.
• cooperate with finance team and Report to the finance manager.
• Handle TDS filing and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws.
• Maintain financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
• Provide training and support to accounting staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards, and implement necessary changes in company practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years of experience in GST and TDS filing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime, ERP Software etc).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
