Rightsline is looking for a full-time Quality Control Specialist to join our Quality and Experience team. We need a meticulous, logical tester with excellent communication skills and a passion for solving problems. Experience testing enterprise software is preferred. The desire to learn and the ability to adapt are required. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will ensure quality and consistency by interpreting customer requirements, writing and executing both general and customer-specific test cases, reporting issues, and contributing ideas for product improvement.
This role reports to the QA Manager, and is in constant collaboration with the Professional Services, Engineering, and Product teams. The Quality Control Specialist is an integral part of building the most comprehensive, intuitive, technology-forward platform with the goal of maximizing the value of intellectual property. You will be working in a highly collaborative environment with a team who shares your passion for building impactful products.
What you will do:
Interpret customer requirements to develop relevant customer-specific regression test plans for new and existing features
Execute customer-specific regression test plans at specified intervals
Identify and report issues and areas of improvement in Jira
Report test results clearly in Testmo
Collaborate with customer-facing teams to meet customer testing needs
Collaborate with teammates to investigate and verify issues proactively
Write scripts using Powershell and SQL to automate comparison of test results to known results
Work with the Quality Control Lead and QA Manager to investigate the possibility of creating automated testing suites for customers using Playwright + Typescript + Cucumber
What you will bring to the role :
3 years of Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, or Technical Support experience
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong sense of ownership and proven ability to adapt when priorities change
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Team-first mindset, and a willingness to learn new features and shape new processes
Ability to understand customer requirements in order to develop effective test plans
Experience writing manual regression tests, and executing regression, smoke, and exploratory testing suites
Ability to write clearly and concisely
Ability to communicate effectively via remote collaboration tools like Slack and Zoom
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software
1+ years of experience with relational databases in SQL
1+ years of experience with testing software such as TestRail, Testmo, Xray
Understanding of programming concepts and hands-on experience with at least one programming language ( Powershell, JS/TS, Python, Java)
1+ years of experience with API testing
1+ years of experience with Playwright + JS/TS
Compensation :
6 to 10 LPA (INR)
Shift :
Flexible, to provide overlap during UK and US hours.
