Job Description
Job Title: Quality Control Specialist - Jewellery Industry
Experience: 5+ years in Quality Control, preferably in the Jewellery industry

Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Quality Control Specialist to oversee and maintain the highest standards in jewellery manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, compliance with industry standards, and minimizing defects in production. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of jewellery craftsmanship and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections at various stages of jewellery production to ensure quality standards are met.
Material & Craftsmanship Evaluation: Assess raw materials, gemstones, and finished products for consistency, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
Process Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and company quality guidelines.
Standardization & Documentation: Develop and maintain quality control checklists, reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Testing & Certification Coordination: Collaborate with certification agencies to ensure product authenticity and quality.
Supplier & Vendor Audits: Evaluate and monitor supplier quality and compliance with company standards.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend process improvements to enhance overall product quality and reduce wastage.
Training & Development: Educate production staff on quality standards and best practices.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
In-depth knowledge of jewellery materials, gemstones, and manufacturing techniques
Ability to implement and monitor quality control systems
Familiarity with industry compliance and safety regulations
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Proficiency in quality assurance software and ERP systems
Attention to detail and precision in inspection processes
Qualifications:
Bachelors/Master s degree in Quality Management, Gemology, or a related field
