Quality Control Lead

The Position

Rightsline is looking for a full-time Quality Control Lead to join our Quality and Experience team. The Quality Control Lead will provide technical leadership and management of customer testing deliverables for the Rightsline software platform. The Quality Control Lead will mentor and guide a team of Quality Control Specialists to effectively build, maintain, and test customer-specific regression test suites.

This role reports to the QA Manager, and is in constant collaboration with the Professional Services, Engineering, and Product teams. The Quality Control Lead is an integral part of building the most comprehensive, intuitive, technology-forward platform with the goal of maximizing the value of intellectual property. You will be working in a highly collaborative environment with a team who shares your passion for building impactful products.

What you will do:

• Coach the Quality Control Team by assisting with decision making, problem solving, goal setting, and providing feedback on testing-related tasks, and best practices
• Partner with various stakeholders within the Professional Services customer-facing teams to understand testing and automation needs and propose technical solutions to meet business needs
• Lead the Quality Control team in Interpreting customer requirements to design and implement customer-specific regression test suites for new and existing features
• Ensure customer-related regression testing is executed at relevant intervals
• Set quality benchmarks, KPIs, and metrics to measure and track QC performance.
• Create and maintain reusable components, functions, and libraries to reduce maintenance costs, increase efficiency and scalability of the testing framework
• Lead the investigation into creating automated testing suites for customers using Playwright + Typescript + Cucumber
  

What you will bring to the role :

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, or Technical Support experience
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Organization agility (knowledgeable about how an organization works) and ability to apply that capability to lead change, deliver strong results and build the confidence of stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to make sound judgment and resolve problems without supervision and keeping up to date with advances and developments in the industry
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Ability to understand customer requirements in order to develop effective test plans
• Ability to write clearly and concisely
• Ability to communicate effectively via remote collaboration tools like Slack and Zoom
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases in SQL
• Expertise with testing software such as Jira, TestRail, Testmo, and Xray
• 2+ programming concepts and hands-on experience with at least one programming language ( Powershell, JS/TS, Python, Java)
• 3+ years of experience with API testing
• 1+ years of experience with Playwright + JS/TS

Compensation :

7 to 12 LPA (INR)

Shift:

Flexible, to provide overlap during UK and US hours
