The ultimate responsibility for creative reputation, quality of creative product and development of creative talent.
Creative Delivery:
- Ensures that all projects provide creative solutions and maintain top quality.
- Understands changing trends in market, consumer and competition to preempt threats and create break through 'first time' opportunities / solutions. Provides creative solutions to strategy problems.
- Oversees creative consultations with account teams to assure appropriate creative strategies, adequacy/accuracy of input, schedules, budgets, production support, necessary reviews, and client presentations.
Brand Focus / Consumer Understanding:
- Provides thought leadership on the brand and enables and excites the team to think concise briefs that translate into exciting and relevant high value advertising ideas.
- Clearly articulates and nurtures the brand and the teams thinking towards a larger vision. Aligns and excites the client with this vision.
Financial Discipline:
- Ensures the delivery of best-in-class work on their business while ensuring Agency profitability.
- Supports new business initiatives as required. They partner business heads in developing new business opportunities (pitches and organic growth) and are responsible for new business gains/losses.
Client impact:
- Establishes a rapport with clients to better sell creative ideas and handle conflict.
- Leverages client trust to increase the Agency scope and portfolio of the client's business.
