Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer with experience in Appium to join our dynamic team.

As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests for mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Appium, Selenium, and mobile testing frameworks.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium and related tools.

- Collaborate with developers, testers, and product managers to define test strategies and improve product quality.

- Create and maintain robust and reusable test frameworks.

- Automate mobile app testing for both Android and iOS platforms.

- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing using automated scripts.

- Integrate automated test cases with CI/CD pipeline and reporting tools.

- Troubleshoot and debug test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.

- Keep up to date with mobile testing best practices and automation tools.

- Report test results, identify potential risks, and communicate effectively with the team.

- Maintain and enhance the current test automation infrastructure.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Appium for automating mobile applications on both Android and iOS.

- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automated test scripts.

- Experience with mobile testing frameworks (e., JUnit, TestNG, Mocha).

- Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver for web automation.

- Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Knowledge of mobile application lifecycle and testing processes (including UI, UX, performance, and security testing).

- Understanding of mobile device provisioning, simulators, and emulators.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with additional testing tools like Appium Studio, Browser Stack, or Sauce Labs.

- Familiarity with performance testing tools for mobile apps.

- Knowledge of REST APIs and how to automate testing for them.

- Experience with TestNG, Maven, or similar build/test tools.

- Knowledge of mobile security testing practices.

- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycles.

Educational Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
