Position Overview :

We seek an experienced Business Analyst/Quality Assurance (BA/QA) professional with a strong background in the transportation and logistics industry.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in automation testing, mobile testing, and possess a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements within the transportation and logistics sectors.

This role will involve gathering and analyzing business requirements, developing test strategies, and ensuring the quality of software solutions through rigorous testing processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Analysis :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into clear and concise functional specifications.

- Analyze and map business processes within the transportation and logistics industry to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

- Work closely with development teams to ensure that requirements are understood and implemented accurately.

- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews with stakeholders to elicit detailed requirements and gain a deep understanding of business needs.

Quality Assurance :

- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.

- Execute manual and automated testing for transportation and logistics software applications, including web and mobile platforms.

- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure software solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.

- Identify, document, and track defects and issues through resolution, working closely with development teams to ensure timely fixes.

- Perform end-to-end testing of transportation and logistics systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across modules and platforms.

Automation Testing :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

- Implement and execute automated testing for web and mobile applications, focusing on key transportation and logistics processes.

- Continuously enhance and optimize the automation test suite to improve test coverage and efficiency.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

Mobile Testing :

- Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications used in the transportation and logistics industry, ensuring compatibility across various devices and platforms.

- Test mobile apps for functionality, usability, performance, and security, adhering to industry best practices.

- Identify and troubleshoot mobile-specific issues, collaborating with development teams for resolution.

Documentation and Reporting :

- Document test results, defect reports, and testing progress in a clear and organized manner.

- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing status, including risks, issues, and recommended solutions.

- Maintain up-to-date documentation of business requirements, test plans, and test cases.

Requirements :

- 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst/quality assurance professional, with a focus on the transportation and logistics industries.

- Strong knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g, Selenium, Appium) and frameworks.

- Experience in mobile application testing, including Android and iOS platforms.

- Proficiency in using QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

- A solid understanding of transportation and logistics processes, systems, and industry challenges.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into pipelines.

- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman.

- Understanding of data analytics and reporting within the logistics sector.
