Job Summary:

- The Internal Audit Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and conducting audits related to organizational safety practices, compliance, and risk management.

- This role ensures adherence to internal safety standards, legal regulations, and industry best practices while identifying potential risks and recommending actionable improvements.

- The position requires strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Planning & Execution:

- Develop and execute audit plans focused on safety management systems, processes, and practices.

- Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of non-compliance or potential hazards.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of safety policies, procedures, and controls.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO standards, and other relevant safety regulations.

- Stay updated on local, state, and federal laws pertaining to workplace safety.

- Monitor compliance with industry-specific safety certifications.

Reporting & Documentation:

- Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.

- Present audit findings to senior management and stakeholders.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety inspections and audits.

Collaboration & Training:

- Work closely with operations, HR, and safety teams to address audit findings.

- Provide training and guidance to employees and management on safety best practices.

- Develop safety awareness programs and initiatives.

Risk Management:.

- Identify and evaluate potential safety risks within the organization.

- Recommend and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.

- Monitor the effectiveness of corrective measures over time.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in BE/BTech (Civil Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical ).

- Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or OSHA certifications are preferred.

- Internal Audit Certificate Required ISO 14001 & 45000.

- ADIS/PDIS certificate must required.

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in safety management, internal auditing, or risk management.

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.

- Proficient in risk assessment methodologies and audit techniques.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and report-writing skills.

- Proficient in audit management tools and software.

Working Conditions:.
