Role & responsibilities

System Monitoring

• Monitor computer systems, servers, and networks for performance and security.
• Respond to hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

Data Entry and Management

• Input, update, and manage data within designated systems or software.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of data records.

Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving

• Identify and resolve system errors, crashes, and malfunctions.
• Escalate complex issues to the IT department or external support when necessary.

Routine Maintenance

• Perform scheduled backups and ensure data recovery protocols are in place.
• Update software, install patches, and maintain hardware components.

Documentation and Reporting

• Record system activities, incidents, and resolutions in logbooks or system logs.
• Prepare reports on system performance and issues for management.

Support Services

• Assist users with technical issues related to software and hardware.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on system operations as required.

Security Management

• Monitor and implement security measures to protect data and system integrity.
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in computer science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and office productivity software.
• Basic knowledge of networking, databases, and system security.
• Experience: Prior experience as a computer operator or in a similar role is advantageous.
