Revalsys Technologies - Azure Architect - Cloud Computing & Services (5-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Azure Service Management :

- Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud solutions using core Azure services such as Compute (VMs, Containers), Storage (Blobs, Disks), Networking (Virtual Networks, Load Balancers), and Identity (Azure Active Directory).

- Configure and maintain Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Functions to meet business and performance needs.

- Implement Azure Storage solutions (e.g, Blob Storage, Disk Storage, Azure Files) for efficient data management and backup.

Azure Active Directory & Identity Management :

- Manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) environments, including user provisioning, group management, and security policies.

- Design and implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) and role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure secure access to Azure resources.

- Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies for Azure AD data, ensuring high availability and data protection.

Networking and Security :

- Design and configure Azure Networking solutions, including Virtual Networks, VPNs, Network Security Groups, and Load Balancers to enable seamless and secure communication between resources.

- Implement Azure Security features, including Azure Firewall, Azure Sentinel, and Network Security to safeguard cloud infrastructure from threats.

- Ensure security and compliance by implementing best practices for governance, access control, and audit logging in Azure.

Cloud-Native Architecture & Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :

- Design and implement cloud-native architectures, ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient, and multi-tenant.

- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM Templates, Bicep, Azure CLI, and Terraform to automate infrastructure deployment, version control, and environment management.

- Develop and maintain Azure architectural roadmaps and strategies that align with business objectives and long-term goals.

DevOps and Continuous Integration :

- Work with Azure DevOps to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Automate workflows for infrastructure deployment, testing, and release processes, ensuring fast and reliable updates.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate infrastructure management with software delivery processes.

Monitoring and Performance Optimization :

- Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track the health and performance of Azure resources.

- Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure that cloud applications are running efficiently and cost-effectively.

- Analyze logs and metrics to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and potential issues.

Stay Current with New Azure Services :

- Keep up to date with the latest features and capabilities of Azure Cloud and continuously incorporate new Azure services to improve cloud architectures.

- Participate in Azure communities, attend relevant conferences, and acquire certifications to maintain expertise in cloud technologies.

Candidate Requirements :

Technical Experience :

- 4+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud solutions.

- In-depth knowledge of Azure services such as Compute (VMs, Containers), Storage (Blobs, Disks), Networking (Virtual Networks, Load Balancers), and Identity (Azure Active Directory).

- Familiarity with Terraform and Azure DevOps for cloud automation and CI/CD pipeline implementation.

- Experience in managing and configuring Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions.

- Proficiency in at least one Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool, such as ARM Templates, Bicep, Azure CLI, or Terraform.

- Experience with Azure Security and Azure Governance tools such as Azure Sentinel, Azure Firewall, and Network Security Groups.

- Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance best practices.

Desired Skills :

- Azure Cloud Services : Knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Resource Manager, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Machines.

- Familiarity with log collection tools and infrastructure performance monitoring, including optimization techniques.

- Experience with cloud-native architectures including multi-tenant, scalable, and resilient solutions.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, especially Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline configuration, and automation.

- Ability to design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for Azure environments.
