Job Description
Job Duties:
- Create and update excel based databases on a regular basis.
- Gather data from various public sources and economic databases. Analysis of large datasets to identify patterns & trends
- Prepare dynamic charts for different economies to enable visualization of the relation between different key macro-economic indicators.
- Econometric analysis using time series and panel data regressions using econometric software.
- Assist in preparation and publication of daily, weekly and quarterly deliverables.
- Write short notes/commentary on economic data releases and weekly publications.
- Keep abreast with important macro-economic news/developments which impact the developed and emerging markets.
Skills Required:
- Comprehensive understanding of economic fundamentals
- Experience in macro-economic data analysis
- Should have exposure to report writing
- Should have good MS Excel skills
- Diligence, high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to interact with global clients
- Working experience of Bloomberg and Haver is preferred
- Strong written skills, including ability to effectively communicate economic/financial concepts
