Senior DevOps Engineer - Configuration Management Tools (5-7 yrs)

Job Location : Ahmedabad

Job Responsibilities :

- Automate everything including, scaling, monitoring, and operations

- Deploy and manage tools to enable self-service both within the DevOps team itself as well as across all of the client's engineering team

- Design, build and support clients' cloud infrastructure (AWS) using automation and infrastructure as code (Terraform)

- Partner with product development engineers to build services according to modern design patterns, for example, the 12 factor App methodology

- Develop strong relationships with the engineers, managers, and other colleagues based on trust, empathy, and technical expertise

Job Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience working in cloud production environments like AWS

- Strong experience with the Linux systems

- Strong scripting experience with bash and any other programming languages like Python or Ruby

- Experience creating and working with containers as well as using container orchestration tools(Kubernetes, ECS)

- Experience using configuration management tools( Chef, puppet, Ansible, Salt)

- Experience with infrastructure as code tools to build, deploy and integrate both infrastructure and applications( Terraform, cloud formation)

- Fundamental knowledge in networking, operational systems, and package build systems

- Experience supporting relational or no-SQL databases, message busses, caching services, and other common service components

- Familiarity with common monitoring, logging, and observational platforms

- Familiarity with the CI/CD and testing platforms
