Role Description :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing efficient, scalable, and secure cloud-based infrastructure.
This role will focus on automating processes, optimizing performance, and ensuring seamless integration and deployment of software solutions while leveraging a wide range of AWS services.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and performance.
- Utilize Amazon EC2, ECS, Fargate, and Lambda for efficient compute resource management.
- Implement and manage storage solutions like Amazon S3, EFS for application requirements.
- Monitor system performance and reliability using Amazon CloudWatch and implement solutions to improve uptime and reduce downtime.
- Set up and manage AWS Load Balancers (ALB/NLB) and Route 53 for application availability and traffic distribution.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and resolve issues.
- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (EKS) or Docker Swarm.
- Maintain and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Ensure system security through effective monitoring, patching, and vulnerability assessments using tools like AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and AWS WAF.
- Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, configurations, and systems.
- Utilize AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for access control and governance.
- Provide support for system troubleshooting and incident resolution.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in AWS services (e. , EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, EKS, CloudFront, DynamoDB, Elastic Beanstalk, Step Functions, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, etc.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools (e., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of monitoring tools (e., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
- Strong scripting skills (e., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Certification in AWS Cloud (e., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect).
- Experience with configuration management tools (e., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Knowledge of database management and optimization (e., RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB).
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards (e. , AWS Config, AWS Shield, AWS Macie, AWS Inspector).
- Experience with event-driven architecture using services like SNS, SQS, EventBridge.
- Experience in setting up high availability architectures using Auto Scaling Groups and Multi-AZ deployments.
- Proficiency in managing DevOps tools on AWS Marketplace or self-hosted environments.
