Assistant Manager Stores

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for Receipt of incoming & out going goods (entry in inward/outward register- stores).
• Responsible for Inspection of incoming consignments of right quantity & quality.
• Responsible for following FIFO of materials in storage.
• Responsible for ensuring good housekeeping in stores and document it in record.
• Responsible for Issue of material to production department on receiving requisition for the material. (Entry in material issue register-Stores).
• Responsible for maintain inventory level and intimate purchase department for order of required material.
• Ensure receipts and issues are correctly documented.
• Direct responsible for timely updating display cards of stored materials RM, PM, FG and rejected materials.
• Responsible for dispatch of Final FG and maintain record for the same.
