Job Description
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g., social platforms, job boards, professional networks) and traditional methods (e.g., referrals, networking events).
- Review resumes and credentials to pre-screen candidates and assess their qualifications and fit for specific roles.
- Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Negotiate job offers and facilitate the hiring process, including conducting background checks and reference checks.
- Maintain candidate databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track candidate progress and ensure data accuracy.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in IT recruitment.
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external recruiting partners.
- Participate in recruitment events, career fairs, and other talent acquisition initiatives as needed.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience as a US IT Recruiter or similar role, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and terminologies.
- Familiarity with sourcing techniques, such as Boolean searches, LinkedIn recruiting, and candidate referrals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software/tools.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring in the US.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
